The Pro 1 JPGs have been way cooked at their time, that means heavy processed by in-camera algorithms. No offence, i’ve owned the Pro 1, too…and must say that the “L” Lens wasn’t so “L” really…at last not Pro Level for sure, apart from the Name.
Further, the 7x Zoom Range PowerShot Pro 1 have had much more distortion, and wasn’t as good neither sharp as the Olympus C-8080z, which have had the best glas (Lens) onto a bridge camera back in 2004, 10 years ago. Apart from that, the Pro 1 suffered also from dust spots inside the lens – which the Oly 8080 never had.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
