Very interesting post as usual, Erez. Having seen your earlier posts, I looked at the finished image first imagining the PP tweeks you most likely did, and for the most part I was spot on. I’m not saying that to boast, but just to let you know that your contributions have actually teached me a thing or two about postprocessing 😉
One tweek I assumed incorrectly was some selective blurring on the foreground. I guess the reason why it looked like that to me is the not-so-increased contrast in the lowermost area, together with blurring due to the tilt-shift setup? Anyway, if it was my image, I’d probably crop a little bit off the bottom to reduce the size of the oof low-contrast area. At least for web-viewing, for a large print this area makes for a good “border” I can imagine.
Thanks again for this interesting series, and before I forget: hats off for getting this shot in the first place, it was well wort risking glaciation of your and your tripod’s legs…

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
