Von Wong chose freedivers as his models. Their ability to hold their breath underwater for upwards of three minutes at a time made them the best candidates for the job.

Dresses worn by the models for the shoot were donated by a Bali-based fashion designer. Since they weren’t expected to survive the shoot, they’re older runway samples.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
