The demise of photography continues. First, we are told the camera doesn’t matter. Now a contest based on what camera you used. What a joke. Some are way over processed to try to achieve a look you would get with a real camera. Paid photography’s decline continues also, people are going to see what you can do on a phone and say “maybe I don’t need to hire someone for my daughters wedding”. All these seminars preach “you can have a career in photography”. They say that because they want you to pay for more seminars and more gear. But, there are hardly any paid photo jobs anymore. Professional photography, RIP.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
