@onlooker, specs sell cameras, especially in internet age. What other APS-C camera can claim 15 fps at full 28 MP resolution, 4K and UHD video recording, use of new h.265, etc, etc. Basically every feature of the camera is as good or better than any other competitor. Oh, and it has some of the best WiFi features of any camera on the market, sounds like it can geotag using info from your phone over Bluetooth, the remote control App is very good, and NFC is a nice quick way to start things off. Even with my NX30 I can hit a couple buttons and it will transfer all my photos, including RAW to my Mac wirelessly. This NX1 adds 802.11ac, which will speed that up a lot (over 400 mbits/second).
Worst case I see, Samsung might sell some sensors to other OEM camera makers.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
