The MLB created this interesting behind-the-scenes look at the work of photographer Andy Kuno, a member of the San Francisco Giants’ photo department. Kuno has a family history of photography for the Giants: his parents ran a photo lab in SF that regularly processed the Giants’ photos back in the days of film and that opened the door to a career for Kuno. After originally not wanting to have a career in photography like his parents did, Kuno has been a staff photographer for the team since 1996.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
