Thanks for sharing this with us.
Personally, I am not terribly excited with the IQ when looking at the files at their highest resolution (and I am no pixel peeper). Bear in mind though that I just looked at the jpg. I just don’t think those samples do justice for a 50 MP sensor. I might download the raw files later on, will probably make a difference.
Based on what I can get with my 6D (I can get very sharp result), I suspect the sharpness should be better by a fair margin with the 5Dsr.
Maybe it might have been best to test the camera with Canon L glasses such as the 70-200 mm f/2.8 II IS, which is known to be very sharp and has dead accurate AF (something that I question with Sigma, never liked their 35mm f/1.4).*
Anyway, I am sure plenty of samples are going to be released any time soon.
Cheers,

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
