The Pentax K5 is still a beast of a camera, excellent in body stabilisation, ergonomics, manual controls, weather sealed, and if you add Pentax legendary limited lens series you will not get much more from a newer camera. Maybe AF had a bit to be desired when you have less light.
I only sold mine because mirror-less cameras are so much easier to carry around, but kept my Pentax DA 35/2.8 Limited to use with adapter.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
