Tiger sharks are developing a reputation as the camera thieves of the ocean. One was photographed stealing a camera back in 2010, and another was filmed stealing a $15,000 camera rig in 2012. Now another one has struck: the 1-minute video above shows a tiger shark snatching an underwater photographer’s camera and swimming off with it… as the photographer holds onto the camera for an impressive amount of time before letting go.
The radio show Paul and Young Ron writes that this latest theft happened during a dive off the coast of the Bahamas.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
