The Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) is one of the ten cameras to gain support in Apple’s photo editing applications.

Apple has released version 6.05 of�Raw compatibility software for Mac OS X Yosemite. This update adds support for ten cameras to Apple’s Aperture, Photos, and iPhoto software.

The cameras that have been added via this update include:

  • Fujifilm X-T10
  • Fujifilm XQ1
  • Fujifilm XQ2
  • Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246)
  • Nikon 1 J5
  • Nikon D810A
  • Olympus Stylus SH-2
  • Olympus Stylus Tough TG-4
  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7

The latest Raw Compatibility Update is now available in the Software Update section of the Mac App Store.�
