We took the second generation of Tamron’s well-priced F2.8 standard zoom with us to Louisiana and Florida over the Thanksgiving weekend, in the hope of catching some sun. It proved itself to be a capable companion, even when tasked with resolving the Sony a7R IV’s 61 megapixel resolution.
In addition to the regular sample images, we’ve also added a series of images shot at F8 at 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm, for assessing sharpness through the focal length range. We’ll be adding more samples in the coming days and weeks.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
