As much as I like the Aperture, every time I looked for a particular camera support, it wasn’t there.
I still have the Aperture 2. But as I just bought a new cam (obviously unsupported by every Aperture version) I’m basically forced to “upgrade” to something else. Probably would try the Adobe’s koolaid this time.
I was hoping that the free options would catch-up – at least on the photo organization side of things – but alas still no luck. DigiKam tries, but porting something like KDE to Windows or Mac apparently is exercise is futility. RawTherapee has some fans, but still slow, clunky and crashes occasionally – less then before, mind you, but still.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
