Yes, that “X100 effect” is nice. I’m coming from a Nikon D90 with a 18-200 mm lens, 35/1.8, 50/1.8 primes, and a few others. Two months ago, I did a review of my past year’s statistics in my Lightroom library, checking for what I shoot with the most. The statistics were pretty stunning: 85% shot with my X100. The few others were mostly where I needed tele range.
So I’m thinking of selling all my Nikon gear, and replace it with a m4/3 system with a telezoom and not that much else, maybe a 50mm equivalent prime (Hello there, Leica Summilux 25/1.4) so that I can alternate. I can miss the 50mm equivalent range at times when I’m out with only my X100.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
