The most promising change is the shutter priority mode, because that is essentially a feature addition — something that Sony is… well, not famous for doing via firmware updates.
Hope this breaks the ice and Sony follow up with RX100Mk2 firmware update that really fixes few annoying things in it. Like, say, horrible implementation of zooming with front wheel: first slight rotation enters “zoom mode” and only second actually changes the zoom (imagine you turn steering wheel and your car enters “turn mode” first w/o actually turning…). It would be nice if they added an option of zooming on the very first small rotation.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
