Victor Hasselblad was the designer of the cameras and the CEO of Hasselblad AB , he died 1978
He must be spinning in his grave
Hasselblad is no longer a Swedish company ( or camera company) but the name sounds better then:
Ventizz Capital Fund IV, LP, wich ownes the company now
“After eight years of ownership by the Hong Kong-based Shriro group, Hasselblad is now moving back to its European roots.”
Yeah right , a Swiss/German holding company instead of the Swedish camera firm
They should have changed the name to The emperors new camera corp or 10cc ( but this was taken)

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
