Apple today announced its latest version of the iMac all-in-one desktop computer — one that some serious specs for photographers. It features what the company is calling “the world’s highest resolution display”. It’s a Retina 5K display measuring 5120×2880 pixels. That’s 14.7 million pixels packed into a 27-inch screen.

The new iMac still has a super thin 5mm profile and now uses 30% less energy than its predecessor.
You can purchase one starting today with a base price of $2,499. Apple will also continue to offer 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs without this fancy new display.
