I hope they take retail seriously because even when they took over the Penn Camera where I was, nothing changed. It was the same terrible customer service and without that warm greeting. Companies are surprised that they do bad and business closes down. A huge part of it is pure first line greeting and customer service. Online has a huge advantage because it’s the same thing as shopping by yourself in a real store.
This is just my perspective with my one particular store, and even if it doesn’t represent the whole it’s still a part of the problem.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
