A Post By: Katie McEnaney Darren recently suggested that the dPS writers to contribute to a semi-regular series featuring our favorite lenses, and I knew, hands down, which lens I wanted to feature: my daily workhorse, the Tamron 18-270mm lens. All photographs in this article, with the exception of the lens itself were taken with the Tamron 18-270mm. Introducing the Tamron 18-270mm The full name of this lens is the Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens. It is a great all-in-one zoom lens and covers a wide-range of photography situations. Vibration control (VC) allows you to handhold at...

A Post By: John Davenport It can be extremely hard to predict when and where the peak colors of falls will hit. If you’ve ever been a week or two early you’ll know the frustration of seeing little splattering of color when you were hoping for full on peak color. Well, using a little bit of post-production magic, you can add some life to those early fall shots and get it closer to the vision you’d hoped mother nature would’ve given you in the first place. Let’s see how we can fake fall color using the HSL tab in Lightroom! As a side note: I do want to mention that while this article is about...

Supersense, a Vienna-based retailer of high-end goods designed to appeal to the five senses, has targeted analog fans with its new 66/6, a limited edition pinhole camera. Compatible with Polaroid’s Instant film, both the concept and the design were created by designer Achim Heine (whose portfolio includes binoculars for Leica) and Florian Kaps of The Impossible Project. The 66/6 features two pinhole sizes, allowing for different light and exposure needs, as well as a rubber bellows providing five focal lengths ranging from, says the maker, ‘mild wide angle to...

Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen got a little carried away last week when, after committing his third foul, he decided to take out his frustration by smacking Bo Bradley’s camera as he was capturing the action — an act that is going to cost him. Bo Bradley was working his freelance job as a cameraman when a frustrated Allen came over and took out his anger on the innocent camera (and its operator). The eyepiece of the camera managed to smash into Bradley’s eye a bit, but he tells WMC Action News 5 there were no cuts or bruises. In fact, there were no hard feelings at all. Allen...

There are those who want nothing more than a fairytale wedding. And then there are those who want the kind of fairytale wedding that includes a substantial dose of darkness. This crazy wedding photo shoot inspired by Disney’s Maleficent falls very decisively into the latter of these categories. The faux-wedding shoot was organized by wedding inspiration blog The Rebellious Brides and shot by ProudRad Photography in the Batangas province of the Philippines. The Rebellious Brides explained the inspiration behind the shoot in a blog post: We grew up idolizing Cinderella and that’s...

Joby — the company best known for their tough, flexible tripods — today announced the latest additions to their Action Series line-up. They’re the Joby Suction Cup & Locking Arm, and the Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm. Both of these new models sport a built-in suction cup, allowing for easy mounting on any smooth non-pourous surface such as glass, polished woods and metals. What makes them different is the arm that comes attached to it. The Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm rightfully includes an arm that is made up of Joby’s signature ball-joint construction and allows for...

The website Insecam claims it’s providing a public service announcement of sorts… the trouble is, that announcement seems to be: change your security camera password or we’ll broadcast your bedroom or living room publicly for all to see… and make a profit doing it. Outed yesterday by Network World, Insecam displays live feeds from over 73,000 unsecured security cameras, organized by country and browsable 24/7. It’s creepy, voyeuristic and, apparently, in service of security. According to the website’s about page, the site is all about “show[ing] the importance of the security...

Ukrainian photographer Yurko Dyachyshyn has spent the past two years capturing the intriguing outfits of Slavik, a local 55-year-old homeless man who changes his clothes at least once a day, using a wardrobe made up of items collected on the streets through assistance programs. The two first met when Slavik approached Dyachyshyn for some change while he was working on a project in the city of Lviv, and it wasn’t long before Dyachyshyn took out his camera and began snapping images of Slavik in exchange for roughly a dollar per photo. The time between images ranges from days to months,...

A Post By: Darlene Hildebrandt By Georgie Pauwels In this earlier collection of images I found some fantastic photos that represent generations. In this challenge your job will be to capture the idea of generations. You could take that literally and use your own family, or friends, or step out of the box a little and try something a little different. Animals An old and new vehicle side by side An antique record player and an MP3 player Old TV and new plasma screen Bicycles Crumpled old weather paper and smooth, new paper Getting some ideas? Here are a few images to get you started. By...

A Post By: Darlene Hildebrandt We all age and get older every year. Families grow and have children and grandchildren. Generations are formed. In my family there are currently five generations, the matriarch being my grandmother who is 93. This week’s collection is of images that capture those generations, be it people, animals or objects. That’s a loss for all the collectionner community! 😉 For @Aaron801 I will try my best. Re-assembled in Italy, with awesome woods pieces that blend harmoniously with the sony camera, these Hasselblad offers you the best of Japanese technology, with Italian fashion that will make everyone’s stare at your camera, with desire visible on their eyes. Hasselblad technology, such as the wood piece, and naturally Hasselblad logo, make them not only great cameras, but probably the best cameras ever, the wood adding a natural film-camera sensation to the photographer and improving the...

More often than not, photographs are displayed on high-quality photographic paper, but that hasn’t stopped people from experimenting with dramatically different mediums that, just maybe, serve a symbolic purpose as well as a functional one. This in mind, photographer Simon Pyle decided to go out on a limb and transfer the images of his series Midden City onto one of the most unlikely of materials: concrete. Pyle used an adapted pigment transfer technique to get his photographs from the computer screen onto the rough, textured surface of concrete slabs he found around his city. The...

There is no ‘right’ way to go about street photography. There’s the laid-back, voyeuristic style, controversial in-your-face methods, and more personal relationship-building approaches. Well-known photographer and blogger Steve Huff prefers the last of these. Rather than trying to capture a candid image or the ‘decisive moment,’ Huff takes a more humanistic approach by emphasizing making a connection and not just a picture. In the interesting 20-minute video above, Huff practically explains every detail that goes into capturing his street photographs. From striking up a conversation...

One of the most interesting photographic mysteries of the 20th century is the story of the ‘Mexican Suitcase’ — something that is neither a suitcase, nor Mexican. What it is, is three boxes of roughly 4,500 negatives that depicted the Spanish Civil War, and were lost for more than 50 years. “Why are these images so special?” you might ask. They’re special because they are some of the first photos of war ever captured up-close and personal with 35mm film. Not only that, they were shot by some of the most respected war photographers to ever live: Robert Capa, Gerda Taro and David...

It used to be only outliers ditched their Nikon and Canon DSLRs for more compact setups. But as mirrorless systems get better and better, more pros are making the switch and feeling compelled to let the world know exactly why. One such photographer is Lukas Gisbert-mora, who recently ditched his Nikon for a Fuji. In the above video, he lists all of the reasons why he made the transition, and goes over the pros and cons of dropping one system for the other. Rather than focusing on only the positives, Gisbert-mora starts off the 17-minute video with the cons first. Specifically, he...

A Post By: Suzi Pratt Today there are a ton of photo editing software programs to choose from, but there is one in particular that is worth the investment if you’re in need of speed. Developed by Camera Bits, Photo Mechanic is a standalone image browser that offers the very basic features of previewing, selecting, and importing digital images (culling). While the software might seem like a questionable investment since all it does is cull with no photo editing capabilities, Photo Mechanic has long been vouched for by many professional photographers. In fact, it was debuted in 1998 and used...

A Post By: Siddhesh Jukar Dance and music have always been a part of my life, but work and my wife have kept me a bit busy lately. So when I had some photography assignments for a few dance concerts, I knew it was going to be a lot fun. It also made me realize that it can also be a bit challenging. In that split second, there is movement, emotion and a story to be captured. You need to anticipate that split second and capture the motion. When it comes to your viewers, you want them to believe and see that motion for themselves. So here a few tips to get prepared for a dance portrait. Why...

Leica has built up a significant reputation since it created its first 35mm film camera 100 years ago. That reputation means different things to different people, and hangs over every new model its name is applied to. The Leica X (Typ 113) is the company’s latest fixed-lens APS-C camera. Designed, developed and built by the German company, it commands a substantial price tag. So what’s it like to shoot with and what do you get for your money? We handed the camera to two photographers to see what they thought. The Professional’s perspective: By David...

I went to the last finalists exhibition, last Christmas. These pictures look like “the ones that didn’t quite make it”, so if you like these definitely check out the show if you can. I expect the World Press Awards show, which is good, will be across the river at the Royal Festival Hall at about the same time. The Taylor Wessing was largely environmental portraiture, and pretty good. For gearheads, they put up a PDF with details for all the pictures. So you can see how almost none of the finalists were shot at 85 to 135mm equivalent, and you should probably be paying more...

Drift, maker of the Ghost-S and HD Ghost, has introduced its smallest action camera to date: the Stealth 2. Its diminutive size is the Stealth 2’s most notable feature – it’s half the size of the Ghost-S, measuring 3.15 x 1.65 x 1.06 inches, and it weighs 40% less. The combination of a 1.3-inch Mono Graphic Backlit LCD and status LED panel show the camera’s current operations and mode, and is joined by support for the Drive 2-Way Remote Control. Back in June I posted about how the then newly released LG 34UM95-P had changed my editing workflow going from dual screens when editing to a single ultra wide one. Today I’d like to follow up on that experience with a new one with the curved version of the LG monitor, the 34UC97-S. Just as with the 34UM95, the 34UC97 is a 34” ultra wide LED backlit IPS LCD monitor with the same native resolution of 3440×1440 at 60Hz. On paper you would be forgiven for thinking they’re twins and, indeed, on all but a few counts they are. The major difference is that the 34UC97 is curved and comes with...

In 2012, photographer Kelly Lewis and her husband adopted young Alice Lewis into their family. Between Alice’s dream of becoming a model/actress, Kelly’s passion for photography, and the entire family’s love of cosplay, the trio quickly found the mutual ground that would forge a deep bond between Alice and her adoptive parents. These mutual fascinations have turned into a fun and popular portrait project called ‘Malice of Alice’ in which Alice dresses up, gets into character, and poses for her mother’s lens. If you’re a Canon user and a hater of all things DxOMark, you might want to skip over this one and read this article on how well the 7D Mark II is weather sealed instead. If you’re a Canon hater, read on! You’ll love this! Earlier today, the lab released their official review of the Canon 7D Mark II, and while there were a few bright spots, the tone of the review in general might be summed up by the word ‘meh.’ The biggest issue with the camera, according to DxO, is how it performs at base and low ISO. A Post By: Adam Welch Fear. It’s an emotion to which we all can relate. Luckily, nervousness or fear in photography can be overcome with practice and patience. After speaking with a few fellow photographers and borrowing from my own experiences, I have listed some shared fears among photographers and ways you can learn to overcome them. 1. The fear: I’m afraid I don’t know what I’m doing. Every photographer at some point feels a little out of their depth when encountering a new situation or problem. Whether it’s learning to use a new piece of equipment, a lighting conundrum, or simply making...

Videos can be captured in either 720p at up to 60fps or 1080p at 30fps. There’s a 135-degree FOV,...

The black hole in the highly-anticipated Christopher Nolan blockbuster Interstellar has already made headlines. Put together with some serious mathematical help from astrophysicist Kip Thorne, it was so accurate he’s actually going to get a few academic papers out of it. It is, however, 100% CGI and as such outside of our purview as photographers… until now. Just a few days away from the movie’s debut, Shanks FX and PBS decided to recreate the effect using all in-camera elements they’ve shown you how to create before. First, the results. On the left we have the CGI black hole from...

Cook, a UNC alum and resident of Durham, North Carolina found the stolen image, which was taken from his wife’s wedding photography website, on the UNC Psychology Facebook Page. Grays of Westminster — an award-winning camera shop in the UK — has officially been given a Coat of Arms, marking the first time any camera shop in the world has been given the prestigious honor. The Coat of Arms was given to the Nikon-only camera shop’s founder Gray Levett by Mr. Robert Noel, the Lancaster Herald of Her Majesty’s College of Arms, at a dinner ceremony held in Pall Mall, London last week. The final design was a result of much collaboration between Levett and the College of Arms, in an effort to properly signify their role in the photography industry. The entire...

Kodak, or rather JK Imaging pretending to be Kodak, recently launched a new entry into the action camera market. It’s called the Kodak PixPro SP360, and its intriguing form factor and lens allow it to capture 16-megapixel photographs and 1080p video with a 360º field of view. The SP360 action cam pairs with your iOS and Android devices via WiFi and a proprietary app that allows you to not only use your phone as a live view screen, but also choose how the 360º image you’re capturing will be displayed. The view options are ring, dome, front/rear 180º shots, 360º panorama and globe, each...

For nearly a decade of her life, photographer Norma I. Quintana devoted every summer to a group of people few ever get to capture through a candid lens: circus performers. Every year from 1999 to 2007, every chance she got, she would go spend a couple of days with the one-ring Circus Chimera capturing black-and-white photographs with her medium format camera. The images she returned with show a side of the circus that most people never get to see, and make up the photo series and now photo book Circus: A Traveling Life. In an interview with Slate, Quintana reveals that capturing...

A Post By: Hillary Grigonis Fall is an exciting time for photography and it’s not just because of the scenery that comes with the season. The newest enthusiast and professional cameras tend to arrive on shelves in the fall and, even if you’re not in the market for a new shooter, the latest gear announcements are worth a peak just to see what new technology is being introduced. While a lot of new announcements are mediocre updates, the fall of 2014 has brought in several new cameras that are more than marginal. Canon has released a new DSLR with amazing burst speeds, while Nikon has announced...

Nikon D300 with Nikon AF 35–70 F2.8 and Nikkor AF 70–200 F2.8 Nikon F4 with NIkon AF 35–70 F2.8 and Nikkor AF 70–200 F2.8 Mamiya RB67 Pro S with Mamiya Sekor 90mm f3.8 and Mamiya KL 250mm f/4.5 I shot Kodak Ektar 100 in the...

The basic rules of composition apply to almost every visual art there is, be it photography, painting or graphic design. Whether it’s the rule of thirds or the rule of triangles, the principles overlap, leaving the educational resources for each respective art form useful across the board, not tied down to one specific field. This is why we decided to share the above video, which is one of the most comprehensive looks at understanding composition that we’ve ever come across. Created by CGI artist Andrew Price, its usefulness extends far beyond the realm of computer-based graphics. The...

Fotodiox is adding a new piece of gear to its impressive lineup of adapters and accessories. It’s called the Vizelex ND Throttle, and it’s a Sony E-mount to Canon EF-mount adapter that comes with a variable ND filter that’s capable of ND2 all the way up to ND10 (10-stop difference) built right in. Why build a variable ND filter into an adapter you ask? Well, there are a number of reasons. First off, by placing the ND filter at the back of the lens, wider lenses won’t suffer from a strange distortion that happens when a front-mounted filter is used. Another benefit is that, when...

You know those pictures of astronauts on the ISS, working away at some experiment or another while somebody else takes their picture? Well, somebody else might not have actually been involved. As Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev shows you in the video above, taking a self-portrait in space is a whole lot easier than on Earth. No need to find a place to set the camera… just set the timer and ‘place’ the camera in the right spot in mid-air. In the video’s description, he writes, “how to make a selfie in zero gravity,” but does it count as a selfie if you don’t have to use your hands?...

Chinese New Year, 1984 Revisiting photographs you took 30 years ago can be an eye-opening experience, and not simply because of the sharp realization of just how much has changed. For photographer Bud Glick, digging up, scanning and printing his photographs from New York City’s Chinatown in the 1980s has allowed him to discover images he once looked over, save images that were once unprintable, and revisit a fascinating time characterized by rapid social change. The photographs in Glick’s Chinatown, NY series were captured between 1981 and 1984 while he was working full-time for the...

A Post By: Karen Quist Whether you’re an amateur or professional photographer, whether you usually photograph people, products, landscapes or insects, the time will come when you will be asked to photograph a large group of people. Of course large is a relative term. If you are used to photographing couples or taking individual portraits, large could mean a group of five people. In general, I consider large to be a group of seven or more. The festive season is fast approaching, and this is the time of year when you are most likely to be asked to photograph large groups. During this season,...

A Post By: Prathap DK Post-processing is one of the most important steps in the image making process. It is in fact one of the most powerful tools to make your vision come true. The camera does not see the way you see your world and it is your responsibility to translate your vision into reality in post-processing. You can achieve most artistic results in post-processing that are simply not possible in reality. But, being a bird photographer you do not often get a chance to post-process your bird photographs artistically. Why? Since the viewer would have seen the bird in reality, it is...

Bahamas-based underwater photographer Elena Kalis and her daughter Sacha Kalis have a deep connection with the water. Elena has been an underwater photographer for many years, and Sacha, thanks in part to her mother’s encouragement and in part to her own natural affinity to the water, says she “learned to swim before she could walk.” Together, they create dream-like, peaceful portraits that capture Sacha’s world beneath the waves and her connection to all the creatures that make the waters of the Bahamas their home. Small cameras are becoming more powerful with each iteration, but as powerful as they are, the lack of any quality stabilization options means shaky, unprofessional looking footage no matter what resolution you’re shooting at. Here to hopefully solve this issue is Kumbacam: a Florida-based imaging company that has a lineup of one-handed gimbals specifically designed for GoPro and smartphone cameras. Nearly identical in functionality, but slightly different in design, these two gimbals use three brushless motors to provide tilt, roll and pan stabilization for your smartphones and...

For the Adobe Remix project, talented light painting artist Janne Parviainen painstakingly combined forced perspective drawing with light painting to create something really special. Turning his studio into not one, but two versions of the Adobe logo over the course of the project, Parviainen wanted to create an alternate world. Using forced perspective drawing, he creates the illusion of two different spaces: the room, and the drawing somehow popping out of it. He then lit these drawings and the logo to bring them to life using long exposure. Here’s a video overview of both version 1...

A Post By: Melinda Smith Sometimes you get that photo that is almost perfect. If all it takes to make it great is a little head swap, well, today is your lucky day! I’m going to show you two techniques, for quick and easy head swapping. I’ve even included a demo video at the end, if you want to watch the tips in action. I am using Photoshop CS6 for this demonstration. If you are using a different editing program, these methods may not work for you. If you are using an older version of Photoshop, the techniques should work the same, but your screen may look slightly different. Ready to see...

A Post By: Darlene Hildebrandt Canon EOS 7D Mark II – Hands-On Review Larry Becker discusses the new Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR. He explores the camera’s many high-performance features, including its dual DIGIC 6 processors, 20.2MP APS-C sensor, full HD video capture, and fast, accurate autofocus. He also demonstrates many of the “hidden” features that make this camera a welcomed update to the groundbreaking EOS 7D. Are you ordering one? Or maybe you already have one on pre-order? I know a few photographers that do weddings and shoot sports and action that are really excited about the focus...

As usual these capture the moments where a certain expression has nothing to do with reality, but rather the emotion the photographer tries to express. If a person has a certain look, he too often chooses that photo and thinks it expresses the situation of the population in question. Emotion in photography should in my opinion have no weight, what photography does if done correctly is documenting the facts, not twist them and make people draw conclusions of a certain second in a certain war that could take years. Its the experience of suffering that is bad, you can only capture part of it,...

Marty, even Nikon is not a pure “camera company”; they also make high grade optics for other uses, from eyeglasses (hell, my eyeglasses are Nikon, I should know) to steppers. Only Leica is a “pure camera” company and, for the time being, its special niche is secure, particularly with the help of Panasonic. It could be reasonably argued that most of the market consolidation has already happened: Canikon, Sony, Ricoh, Samsung, Panoly, Fuji, plus a few lens specialists. Source Article from...

Samsung is making a statement with the recently announced NX1, and that statement is, “pros, we’re ready for you.” Up till now, any pros who wanted to use Samsung gear — and there are some that do — have had to settle for prosumer bodies designed more for the first time buyer than the seasoned pro. With the introduction of the NX1, that status quo is no more, and a little bit of time with this incredibly powerful new body drives that point home splendidly. We only had about 25 to 30 minutes to play around with the camera during our meeting with Samsung at PhotoPlus, but you don’t need...

Not even really announced as much as teased at Photokina in September, Samsung’s not-yet-official but definitely on the way 300mm f/2.8 made another appearance at the company’s PhotoPlus booth. And since we weren’t at Photokina to see it, we figured we’d snap a few pictures and give you a closer look at the next major lens Samsung plans to announce for the NX1. Here are a few photos we captured from the showroom floor: Source Article from...

One of the most interesting products at this year’s PhotoPlus wasn’t a camera, or a lens, or a quirky accessory hiding in one of the out-of-the-way booths. It was a service called Mylio, and it has somehow managed to get everybody (including us) very excited about, of all things, organizing and accessing your photos. This is no mean feat, mind you. Programs that let you organize and sort your images are a dime a dozen and cloud storage/access services that ensure you always have access to your images might be cheaper still. What makes Mylio — which, incidentally, stands for “My Life...

Elizabeth Gilbert — the author best known for her bestselling memoir Eat, Pray, Love — once wrote that fear and creativity are conjoined twins. In other words, you don’t get one without the other. If you kill fear, you kill creativity. And while we might think that the most talented of photographers, the ones who have very decidedly ‘made it,’ no longer experience the fear that comes with starting a new project or taking a big risk, we’d be wrong. In the sort video above by Stand Out!, seven successful photographers were asked what they feared most and how they overcame it. From John...

Portland-based Art Director Danielle Delph says she often wonders if her mother and her would have been friends if they had grown up together. And while that question can’t be answered in a literal sense (yet… not giving up hope on a time-machine just yet), Delph put her impressive Photoshop skills to use answering it metaphorically. The resulting photographs make up the series If I Had Known My Mother Back Then, which is made up of Delph’s mother’s childhood photos with Danielle expertly blended in so it looks like she always belonged there. “Would we be in the same classes? A Post By: Lynsey Mattingly Charging people money is scary. Having people I’ve never met ask me to produce something I have metaphorically promised the world I can do at a professional level, that may or may not meet their expectations, is terrifying. There is so much I can’t control – the weather, the mood of everyone involved, my camera suddenly deciding to jam without warning, that nerve condition I Googled last night where something snaps in your eyeball without warning and you go blind in mere seconds. Never mind that every single time I leave my house, I’m pretty sure that I am...

DPR could solve the problem pretty quickly by hiring a new body or two, or paying qualified individuals to write reviews within their format on a freelance basis. Since they have not done so, one has to assume that they have not been given permission by the corporate heads, either because DPR is not profitable enough in itself to do that, or they don’t care (that is to say, they have lost sight of what drew people to the site in the first place). This is a problem at the top, at the ownership level. It’s a good bet that DPR is understaffed and overworked, but as long as...

And why? … yes, the same old, because there are guys, guys like you, me, the others out there doing photography and videography for fun and passion, who gladly share their experience, knowledge and even secrets with the world for free, because they simply enjoy what they do and don’t try to make a buck on a beginner or a fellow enthusiast. Wireless Internet is now commonplace, but one thing that’s generally still wired is electricity. One day, however, you might be juicing up your gadgets with wireless energy routers instead of cables and battery chargers. Energous Corporation is one company trying to make that vision a reality. It has developed a technology called WattUp that aims to change the way you think about how electronic devices are charged and powered. Unlike wireless charging with a pad or charging station, WattUp hopes to make it as easy as connecting to your Wi-Fi router from across the room. Its solution...

The phrase “megapixel war” has been thrown around for quite some time now, but could we be seeing the beginnings of a “K war”? Sony is rumored to be working on a mirrorless full frame camera that captures footage at a staggering 8K resolution. The report comes from sonyalpharumors, which tells us that at least two “good sources” have informed them of this camera. The camera is said to be similar in design to the current Sony A99, so it may be a top-of-the-line mirrorless camera featuring a DSLR-style body. Sources are saying that Sony has been showing the camera to certain potential...

A Post By: Darlene Hildebrandt Brown is an unassuming and subtle color. For examples see the set of brown tone images I shared earlier. When I say the word “color” I’m guessing that brown isn’t likely the first one that comes to your mind. But there is so much of this color all around us in the world, in nature. Many animals are brown. Many people have brown hair. It’s a natural and comfortable color, it feels warm. So your challenge this week is to photograph the color brown. This could be a brown item, or maybe even a black and white image that you make into a sepia tone. Here are a few...

A Post By: Darlene Hildebrandt The time of year is upon us when things turn brown up here in northern part of the world. Leaves turn yellow and then brown. Grass changes from green to beige as nature prepares for winter. You may consider brown a boring color and one that isn’t very photogenic or interesting. But there is a lot of nuance and varying tones in browns. Let’s see what’s possible. You’re right. These things should have been designed right onto the camera by the manufacturer. If they did that, then they would add less than a dollar to the total cost of the camera. But since they didn’t, your only option left is to buy a tack on grip. And none of them are cheap, and the ones made by Franiec seem to be the best ones made. I will never understand why manufacturers omit a usable grip on small cameras. It would cost them almost nothing to do, and it would help give them a competitive advantage over other models that are slippery. Source Article from...
