As one gets started in studio lighting I think it is pretty common to get over ensconced in the lighting scenarios. This shot is an HDR shot blended from 6 bracketed shots. Each shot is one stop different from the next. The exposures range from -2 through +3. Aperture was set to f/16. The shutter speed ranged from 1/125 at -2, to 1/4 at +3. I just noticed Vincent Laforet’s article on the MoVI handheld stabilizer system being released by Freefly Systems in Seattle. This shot is an HDR shot blended from 6 bracketed shots. Each shot is one stop different from the next. The exposures range from -2 through +3. Aperture was set to f/16. The shutter speed ranged from 1/125 at -2, to 1/4 at +3. Adobe announced the availability of Lightroom 5 Beta at Adobe Labs today and by all means, go grab a free copy and play.
