Joby — the company best known for their tough, flexible tripods — today announced the latest additions to their Action Series line-up. They’re the Joby Suction Cup & Locking Arm, and the Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm.
Both of these new models sport a built-in suction cup, allowing for easy mounting on any smooth non-pourous surface such as glass, polished woods and metals. What makes them different is the arm that comes attached to it.
The Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm rightfully includes an arm that is made up of Joby’s signature ball-joint construction and allows for seemingly infinite options for angles and directions.
The Suction Cup & Locking Arm features a structure similar to Magic Arms, which is to say it uses two ball-joints on opposite sides of a straight, solid arm.

The Locking Arm model is selling for $40, while the GorillaPod Arm edition is going for $30. To find out more or grab yourself either of these new models, head on over to Joby’s store by clicking here.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
