A journalist should ask the tough questions and not just let Canon representative make an online advertisement. The man talks extensively about video but the changes are minor, late and not substantial. No articulated screen, no 4K, low end 4:2:0, no focus peaking, no advanced codec, no WiFi, no touch focus, no word about full sensor readout or line skipping. All of that make it inferior to the latest MILCs of Panasonic, Sony and other mirrorless brands, or even to Panasonic latest compacts.
It seems like Canon still believe that their only rival is Nikon.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
