The Lee Filters SW150 Mk ll filter holder system for especially wideangle lenses is now shipping, and Lee has announced pricing for the folder itself, the adapter rings and the 150x150mm and 150x170mm filters. The system is designed to allow filters to be held in front of the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED wideangle zoom without vignetting and uses a light seal to prevent reflections on the filter’s rear surface – which can be especially problematic during long exposures with ND filters.
The system also has adapter rings for Samyang’s 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC, Sigma’s 12-24mm f.4.5-5.6 ll DG HSM and the Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 PRO FX.
The holder itself will cost £150 including VAT, while lens adapter rings will be £93.60. Owners of the previous SW150 can buy the new Light Shield to seal the holder for £18. The price of filters starts at £68.32 for color grads, while the Big Stopper and Little Stopper filters are £132, and the Polarizer costs £180.
For more information see the Lee Filters website and our previous story on the SW150 Mk ll. We’ve reached out to Lee for US pricing and will update this story when we get it.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
