We just got our hands on Leica’s new APO-Summicron-SL 28mm F2 ASPH lens for full-frame L-mount cameras and, as you might expect, it’s an impressive piece of glass.
We shot it on the Leica’s SL2 and found a lot to like, including outstanding sharpness throughout the aperture range and across the frame, great distortion control, little CA, nice sunstars and lovely out-of-focus areas. Have a look for yourself.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
