Earlier this month, Nikon announced plans to release its new ViewNX-i image browsing software for free on March 17. As promised, the download has gone live today, building on the camera maker’s previous View NX 2 software. The new application works in conjunction with Nikon’s NX-D photofinishing software for editing photographs, and bundles Nikon’s ViewNX-Movie Editor for editing videos.
ViewNX-i is available for both Mac OS and Windows. Those running Windows will need to be running at least Windows 7 editions and have a 1.6GHz Intel Core i-series or Pentium 4 processor, 2GB of RAM (on 64-bit systems), and a display resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels. Mac users will need to be running at least OS X 10.8.5, an Intel Core or Xeon series CPU (for still image editing), 2GB of RAM, and have a display with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
