JohnT2012: , I did a trial under sunlight this morning and got better results than the last night. Actually, I believe there is a big difference in magnification, or better to put, “closer look”. However, it is way harder to focus on the subject with AF, and DOF is very shallow. Aperture is more sensitive to the light and it didn’t really help me to decrease it for more DOF.
as you might suggest, I concluded that it is really hard to shot living/moving subjects with 60mm macro +25mm extension tube + aps-c. but I think it is a good improvement for well-lit tabletop or sunny outdoor still macros.
