The Sigma 90mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary is the latest in the company’s I series range of compact, mid-priced primes for mirrorless cameras. We’ve been shooting it on the Panasonic S5, to have a look at how it handles portraiture, among other subjects, as we made the most of what might be the last of Seattle’s autumn sunshine.
You can judge the impact on the bokeh shape of its nine rounded aperture blades, and see how it handles direct sunlight.

Started out doing photography at the age of 6 using an uncle's old 1940 kodak brownie box camera. At 15 years of age, I decided to buy my very own 1975 Praktica SLR camera. I now shoot with a Nikon D850. I do unpaid TFP and commercial paid work.
