Tokina has announced the impending release of its new SZ 8mm F2.8 fisheye lens for Fujifilm X and Sony E-mount APS-C camera systems.

The fully-manual lens is constructed of 11 elements in eight groups, including an unspecified number of multi-coated elements. It features a seven-blade aperture diaphragm, offers an aperture range of F2.8 through F22 with a clickless aperture ring and has a minimum focusing distance of 10cm (4”).

Both lenses measure 60mm (2.4”) in diameter, 52mm (2”) long and weigh 280g (9.9). The SZ 8mm F2.8 fisheye lens is set to start shipping on March 15, 2022. No pricing information has been made available at this time.
